So, if we really are getting Olympia this early in the round, before G8M/M8, that means Leo didn't make the cut this time around.
well G8M/M8/ and Leo may still come before Olympia it's just this product is showing her and you never know being Christmas in July now we may get both released by the end of the month as a Christmas bonus

She's a knockout in a 40s pinup style but I did hope they make the eyebrows match the hair or vice versa.
Yeh, it is a constantly annoying aspect I have to fix.
Looking again I think those are fibremesh eyebrows so they just need to give us about 24 shades from white to black.
With the lately added "color picker" it just takes a few seconds to match the fiber mesh eyebrow colors to any hair color:
- Select the separate fiber mesh eyebrow prop.
- Select the eyebrow surface in the surfaces tab
- Hover with your mouse over the Base Color (The mouse cursor switches from an arrow to a hand)
- push and hold alt
- push and hold left mouse button
- move the + cursor that now appeared over to the hair in the iray live viewport
- release if you found the proper color in the hair.
done.
-> Now the fiber mesh eyebrow color matches the hair color.

So yes, let's hope that future DAZ Original characters include a unique fiber mesh eyebrow option as V8 did.
Hmmm, that remains me DAZ Studio needs to include 3 palettes in a menu somewhere 1) natural hair colors 2) natural skin colors 3) natural eye colors
You guys never see women on the street with eyebrows that don't match the hair color?
Not with such frequency no and usually it's natural undyed hair and eyebrows, just varying by a shade or two. The modern dye jobs tend to have brows matched at a salon.
Saying that, that makes my wonder if it was those black eyebrows that suibliminally clued my inter thinking that looks like a 40s pinup.
I see people with unmatched brows all the time and that includes me for what it is worth.. Guess that is regional. The majority of people here have dark hair naturally. Brows are usually dark regardless of the hair color .
Olympia looks good. She has that short-waisted old timey pinup girl look.
Well, it's now been a month since V8 was released, so I suspect that Olympia is right behind the curtain. Tuesday? Or Thursday?
Oh, I like her. She looks like a slight mix between the more muscular but buxom Olympias we've gotten in the past and and a softer, more Romanesque Bethany.

I'm not positive about this, but keep in mind the picture shown above is from a Legs product, so I don't think you can assume her shape will look like that, exactly. I would think that vendor applied their morphs to the figure.
I really like Olympia 7. She's beautiful and somehow adorable and charming too. I'm not seeing that in this new version. She looks okay, and the legs do look good, which was the point of the promo. I'm not so sure about her yet. Guess I'll have to wait and see what Olympia 8's promos look like.
I have fibremesh I use that was originally from G2F; I've added about 30 morphs and 6 material zones. I now copy the hair shader onto them and it invariably works well; some slight adjustment needed sometimes, but there are or can be slight differences anyway.
The thing is though, that brows can look a different colour than hair; the brow's shader is actually slightly lighter than the hair in the image posted, but shades different colours depending on the light.
A character can be 'packed" months before its release. Wouldn't be surprised if other G8 character will be out in july.
Well, I think it woud be super cool if Daz tossed out the old release schedule and gave us Michael 8 next!

And for goodness sake, don't release a gazzillion white girls before releasing the first black and Asian characters. From Victoria 6 to Monique 6 we had to wait 1 year and 8 months. From Victoria 7 to Monique 7 we had to wait 1 year and 6 months. Releasing at least a dozen different "Official" white girls before the first black character of each generation is just gross.

I google cached the topic to see the aforementioned "Olympia 8"...meh...I hope she is more appealing than that. I am not particularly fond of V8, either. She is the first Victoria that I passed on. What is the character in the first promo image? I would rather have her than V8 or Olympia 8.
Each to their own, she's the first Victoria I'm happy to have bought. Although, I'm not sure I like the new Olympia, but judging of just a small number (one is certainly a small number) is a little harsh.
Yup. They've pulled that promo. I think they let it in as a tease. So. Probably some time this week.
Not sure about all of the other promos. But Fabiana did a series of lovely characters for V4 and A4. She's certainly capable of building a promo girl of her own (in fact, several). The skins are probably from current vendors though.
