Genesis v8 from v3?

What's in a number? But why has Genesis gone from version 3 to 8? What happened to 4,5,6,7?

They decided to avoid confusion with the generation 4 figures and go to 8.

The bulk of my content is still for Genesis 2.  I just started buying stuff for 3.  Now this.  I wouldn't mind, but they keep changing the configuration of their models and creating compatability issues.

Genesis 4,5,6 and 7 are only available for Windows 9.
