Gen 3 and 2

I heavily modified @yitao0526's awesome Alicia Armor Gauntlets to look all science fictiony.  I'm going to make this an armband computer for my characters. This is important to my scene. I'm using both gen 2 and 3 to make this model.  The alicia armor fits the gen 3 version of the model, but not gen 2.  But I'm using Gen 2 for the body poses.  And I can't get the darn things to fit her.  The Gen 3 forarm seems to be curved in a way that the gauntlets can't fit.  I know in posing there's a converter script that unlocks the forarm.  I've done the usual fitting it in every way I can think of.  Hope there's a solution.
