Suddenly Save has changed?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I just recently updated to the latest version of DAZ Studio and every time I save my file it now opens my File Explorer and I now have to enter the file name in order to save it, even though I want to save the OPEN file.

I do not recall it working that way before, now I have to save a file and re-enter its name every time?

 

Thanks for any help on this.

    It needs to have authorship information -- go to Edit > Preferences and enter your information.  This is a precaution to make sure you don't overwrite product files.
