Hasn't changed much. DS has 3DLight and IRAY. Then there are official plugins for Reality/Lux and Octane. There are some limited ways to get content into Unity to do renders. Then there are very limted ways to get DAZ assets into any other renderer out there.

and the upcoming Blender realtime Eevee renderer. You need at least openGL 3.3 for Blender Eevee due out with Blender 2.8. I might be one of the very few DAZ Studio users that can't do openGL 3.3 yet.
Ty both, might well look at the Blender engine, I have very limited experiance with it and a little more with sculptris; but the idea of tweaking my meshes and creating some unique charactors has been in the back of my mind for a good while.
Ah, Im sure most you get this, "So many ideas, so little time off. : ) "

It would be great if Daz would upgrade Opengl render engine. I use this because it is fast and it does not task my laptop.
I would like that very much too.
