Hi All, I am sure this has been addressed before, but I have searched and searched and found nothing. I bought Diminsion Theory's HDRI set one and when I click the icon, it loads but is invisible. I can render it and it shows then. So...how do I see what I am doing? I can't work with nothing showing. There is a way to do this with previews but I do not know how or where they are. Can anyone help me as I plan on doing a lot od HDRI rendering. I have tons od downloaded maps from using DT sets in Daz 4.5...where it DOES show. This is frustrating! Please help.

I can see it in my viewport Iray preview
Be sure your viewport is in Iray Preview and that 'Draw Dome' is on in your Render settings Environment.
I find the easiest way is to set the view port to Iray to position the HDRI
Other people prefer to use the Aux view port (Windows - Panes - Aux Viewport)
Found it! Thanks! Now I need to get some shadows in there. Was Daz 4.9 suppose to come with Uberenviroment 2 lights? I have none. How do I get them?
Upper right corner of the viewport just to the left of the camera view block.(See Tottallou's diagram above) - click on the little symbol to bring up a drop down list of view options.
Did you install "Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.9"?
She should be casting a shadow, even if it's subtle. Do you have "Draw Ground" turn on?
BTW, what character is that? She's gorgeous!
Make sure she is actually standing on the ground too. Select her and use Ctrl/d to drop her to the ground plane.
That specific HDRI doesn't cast alot of shadow, probably due to the lighting in it. If you go to your render settings you can increase the shadow intensity.
Also in your image you have the HDRI on as well as a scene light. I don't usually use a scene light with an outdoor HDRI as it looks unnatural IMO. in render settings you can turn off the scene light and then rotate the HDRI for more realistic lighting. This angle in the HDRI creates more lighting on the figure
Probably not...lol. Where are they? I need those lights real bad.
Dial spun by me.. I was trying to get a young Linda Rhonstadt...haha. She is cute though.
Yes you can. And it has a setting that lets an auto light take over when no lights are applied. It's at the bottom of your environment setting in render settings....I think...
