how do I get V4 please?

In Daz 4.9 where can I get V4 as she does not seem to be in there as a default charracter anymore.

If it's not under Smart Content >> Figures you should be able to find it under Content Library >> Products >> V >> Victoria 42 Base.
Do you mean the victoria 4 that is still in the store (though you have to search for her) or the Victoria 4 EZ that used to be part of the old starter content for DS 3? The full Victoria 4 should be where Divamakup says.
I was able to find the content installer that includes V4 EZ in my product library here (Search Daz Studio 3) though I'm not sure if it will install properly without DS 3. I didn't download it to check, so I can't even be sure it's available for download, though it had a manual download button on the product library page.
Is it not the default model anymore? I checked up on what 'divamakeup' said but she wasn't there. Can you download her manually anywhere? with M4 too. I always thought the regular V4 and M4 was always on Daz.
Default content is now the Genesis 1, 2, and 3 starter essentials.
V4 and M4 are both still available for purchase in the store. If you haven't purchased them, you can get the V4 EZ (basically V4 lite) model if you have Daz Studio 2 or Daz Studio 3 in your product library, and download the Daz Studio Base Content installer (you must download this manually) from that entry in your Product Library (found under My Account) Searching for Daz Studio 3 has had the best results for me.
As I said, I have not tested the download nor tried to install it, so I can't promise it will work.
Oh I see alright. Could you point me to where V4/M4 are in the store? I can't find it.

And Michael 4 starter bundle is here. You dont' have to buy the starter bundle but if you really want to take advantage of the characters etc for both characters you need the extra morphs
Keep in mind that V4 and M4 are pretty old figures now. We are now four generations of figures past V4 and M4.
However if you still want V4 and M4 please keep in mind that Daz puts them on some really deep discounts on a fairly regular basis. I think I got the V4 and M4 bases plus their morphs in a bundle for like $5. SO if you're patient, you can likely get V4 and M4 pretty cheap.
Edit - I just looked it up and I got the Super-Physicality Bundle for $6.95 in April of 2016. We got quite a few really deep discounts on V4 and M4 last year - I'm not sure if it would go that low again, but I've seen a lot of the V4 and M4 stuff get pretty cheap if you're patient.

I've used v4 for years, 4.2 ++ Ethic Morphs the whole deal. I will say however, you might be better advised to go with Genesis and

There are morph packages available as well, that would allow you to migrate any v4 Morphs you've bought over to Genesis. If you ever plan to do any Modeling Morphing on your own I think you would find Genesis is alot friendlier that way. Either Way Happy Rendering. BB.
V4 and M4 need be installed by manual or DIM. They were free several times in the store.
If you aren't on a time constraint, October is PC Anniversary month, and a lot of DAZ Originals sometimes get offered at fairly steep discounts during that.
But there's no telling just when a gen4 sale is going to pop up in association with a current release group. Keep watching the store and you may get a bargain. Or hunt through the store for the base models, the morphs++ packages and whatever basics you know you will need and put them in your wishlist, and then check *that* a couple of times a week.
If your issue is you can't find V4 in smart content, because you have loaded everything through the DAZ Connect, Victoria 4.2 is not Connect installable.
To see if you have her loaded, go to Products look under Victoria 4.2 Base.
if it is not there you have to load it through the DIM.
It appears that any figure that uses the PowerLoader need to be install through the DIM.
Tonight I will add a list of those thing that have to be loaded via DIM.

Wow that's a pretty good list thank you! I use DIM anyway but its nice to have the info in case I need it at some point.
the advanced ambient light stopped working for me in ds 4.8. is working in 4.9?
I have been using it, but you have to install it through the DIM, due to part of it installing in the application folder.
These two images were rendered with AOA's Advanced Distant Light, using Advanced Light Presets for AoA's Lights by DimensionTheory. I changed the settings on the second.
One of the annoying things about the Product Library page and DIM; neither of them allow you to sort by those things that do not install through DAZ Connect or which you have to install manually. And yes, there are also things you still have to manually.
There are a few products which only install halfway with DAZ Connect. The Measure Metrics for DAZ Studio is one of those, you only get the scripts through DAZ Connect, not the actual tool the scripts call, unless you DIM install the tool.
In DIM you can Filter by "Connect Available", not sure if you can do it in Product Library also.
True but it does not sort by Connect Not Available which would mean you have to install via the DIM
The Product Library does not sort by install options at all. I walked through my complete Library to create that list and they are the only ones that relate to this plus a few others.
