What is the Difference between SSS in 3Delight and in Poser Firefly?

Does the SSS somehow look different in different programs?

Thanks!

Firefly is the rendering engine that was introduced to poser around Poser 5 or 6 time.  Are you maybe getting muddled up with Superfly, which is the newest render engine added to Poser.

Yes, it's Firefly.  A lot of the V4 textures were made for Firefly, and it's what I'm familiar with.  I'm getting odd results with 3Delight - so I was wondering how SSS for Poser looks compared to SSS made for 3Delight?

Poser SSS material will not really work in DAZ Studio. It does load, but it usually produce weird results and does not use SSS with 3Delight.

DAZ Studio has several 3Delight shaders that support SSS.  The most recent is the Age of Armour Subsurface Shader Base  which I thought was free but now seems to have a price in the store. I setup quite a few V4 skins to work with this shader, but I have now switched to Iray and forgotten the recipie for changing them. It is not automatic at all.  You might try asking in the 3Delight thread.
