G3 shoes to G8

Whenever I try to autofit shoes from any figure to G8 I get a twisted mess.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I have some G3 shoes I really would love to be able to use on G8

    Same question that KristinF has.  AutoFit of GF3 clothing to G8 works fine almost every time, but there is no Footwear/SHOE choice at all, and consequently GF3 shoes simply never fit quite right, although with extra time spent it can sort of look ok.

     

    Is this a limitation due to differences in GF3 and G8 feet, or an oversight with Autofit ?? Will there be a fix?

    If you are trying to convert flat shoes, stockings, socks, or panty hose from G1, G3, G3 to G8, select "full body" when doing autofit.  That has worked well for me.  High-heels are another matter.  There was another thread on this subject:

    The techniques described seem to work reasonablly well, as long as you use the weight-map brush properly.
