All eyebrows render red with the new Iray Uber shader

I did try to mask them out but then even blonde brows turned black. Any ideas how to get brown/blonde brows to look good with the new shader? 

Otherwise the shader is awesome. We have so much more control over the skin now and blemishes/pores dont fade if the SSS is high.

    Many materials end up using the diffuse map as translucency color map, which can help a lot in this (purists think that's a mistake, but it usually avoids a lot of problems easily)

    You may need to lower the translucency weight, though that will also lighten the skin colour. I suspect that's why V8 has her brows as a png in the diffuse overlay channel.

    I tried that too (it works well with the old Iray), but the new shader is different. Skin is very dark with the diffuse as SSS and the brows are still redish. And if I use a desaturated map as SSS the skin looks even darker. So I took the Vicky 8 material setup and reduced the diffuse color of the maps, but the eyebrows stay red. Especially the blonde ones. And makeups dont show much unless they are added to the SSS maps. Its like everything that is black or dark turns to red :/

    The first pic is with the desaturated SSS map and the second is with the diffuse map.

    Third pic is how the brows should look. Skin too but I can work with that.

    Is the new shader V8 or G8?

    Not sure I have it to test

    Its used with V8. G8 is still with the old shader :)

    But it can be used with any character. Its the base Iray shader now. Just change the Base Color Effect to Scatter only and in Volume SSS mode from Mono to Chromatic. Thats it and the skins will look entirely different.
