DAZ whitescreen

I just downloaded the u[pdate to DAZ and now the whole DAZ console is a white screen. I can't see what I'm doing and when I try to render it says:

3Delight message #143 (Severity 2): P1029: cannot find display driver 'C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/displays/bitmap.dpy'
What's going on? How do I fix?

Sounds like you had Studio open when you did the upgrade. Shut studio down, uninstall studio, then re-install.
I'm not sure how... Help please?
Close Daz Studio
Use the Task Manager to make sure it is really closed.
Uninstall Daz Studio (from Install Manager if you used that, or from the Start menu)
Install Daz Studio.
