About selling products on the Daz3D Shop

Hello all, I have created a high detail set of genital morphs/pubic hairs/textures for Gen3F. Can such a product be sold on the Daz3D Shop? If not where is the best place to sell such a product?

    Nope, unfortunately they don't allow such things here. Try renderotica or renderosity. FWIW I would be interested in your product, so hope you find a place to sell it.

    Thanks for the heads up. Another question, does anyone know how they "blank out" or rather "hide the vertices" of the base model when loading the v7 genitalia on the figure?  I'd like to create a gen8 custom model and pose set but need to know how to hide the base model's geometry.

     

    Also, I'll post here in this thread when I have uploaded the package for sale.

    Please note that you may not advertise the product if it is uploaded to another store - we do not allow off-site commercials.

    As for AutoHide, that is handled by making the item a geoGraft. usually you will want to have the new item weld to the gap left by the hidden polygons, so there's no risk of gaps opening up when posing or shaping, and that requires an exact match of the vertices around the edge of the graft and the vertices around the edge of the space, at base resolution. Any increase in mesh resolution must be introduced beyong the graft line.

    Fair enough. I can say that I've posted it though can't I? Thanks I just did a google search for geoGraft and found a tutorial.
