Can DAZ Studio 4.5+ SDK recover old Daz 4.5 files?

Some background on the question. I started seriously using Daz at version 4.5 and have several dozen files in that format. But when I updated to 4.8 I couldn't read them anymore. Can I use DAZ Studio 4.5+ SDK to open them and save them in a format that the newer versions can read?
