Odds would say Bethany 8 or Eva 8 but come on DAZ surprise us and why not some new figures like was precisely Bethany and Eva.
Also I'm curious how the iconic figures like Aiko or The Girl will look in this generation 8 and a bit scared because in my point of view i am very disappointed with how Victoria 8 looks.

Bear in mind that not every character from the Xs will show up in the X+1s, and no doubt some newer names will be added.
I hope a male. With Genesis 8 backwards compatible I will be skipping all but probably most of the new female bases.
I'm guessing maybe Fane, as there's a fit for her in the Voss hair.
ETA the morph doesn't say "8" so she may not even be an official figure.
There's a fit for Fane in the Karissa hair as well. (They're both AprilYSH hairs.) And I'd swear I saw her in something else, but I can't remember what.
Plus, she also has her own G3F hair (also by AprilYSH).
V9 - next month
That doesn't mean "not even an official figure", in previous generations it means it's a character (not a figure) meant to be applied on top of either the base Genesis figure, or one of the named-and-numbered base characters. Considering all we have so far is the base G8F and V8, it could be a character for either. And if DAZ are keeping to anything like the release schedule used for G3, it could be at least a month before the next something-8 character appears.

That said, I think I will be very descriminating about what I actually buy with this Genesis line moreso than I did with Genesis 3. So far, other than V8 herself, OOT's Mega Wardrobe and AprilYSH's Karissa hair, I haven't seen anything that even looks all that good to me. The characters so far have all been "meh" and I'll stick to what I got with the Pro bundle for now. There have been a tool or two and some shoes that looked good that I put in the wishlist but nothing so far other than what I've mentioned that says "BUY IT" LOL. Was sort of anti-climactic. LOL

+1 on V8, MEGA Wardrobe, and Karissa Hair - all amazing looking products and at the top of my "to buy" list right now. In fact I'll probably pull the trigger on them before the end of the day. lol
The Mega Wardrobe is especially well made and textured. I really like it. Thinking of doing my own textures for it ;)

I'm going to avoid most if not all pro bundles that are repeats (I don't care if they have a different name); in fact, considering that the extra characters in bundles tend to use either merchant resources or rehashed skins, they are going to have to be very special indeed.
Considering those.
Are the Jeans different objects, or different shaders; I use VWD and just 'invising' parts makes them look less believable.
I'm not sure if the jeans are using geografts or what, but there is only one pair of jeans and each material setting changes the jeans....all the versions with cuffs have actual cuffs.

I disagree on the 'Mega Wardrobe'. It feels like it was fixed up a tiny bit for G8F or V8 and not much care was put beyond that. Specifically the t-shirt on Rebekah has nasty under-breast cracking that I'm used to seeing with autofit pieces, not with stuff that's natively designed for the generation. Don't get me wrong, OOT usually does decent stuff, but this one...I don't know, the t-shirt is the main thing I've interacted with and it frustrated me. I had to take it into Hexagon to soften the under-breast area, then bring it into VWD Cloth to drape it on a relatively simple pose. Sure, I can do it, but that ended up being a lot of work and three programs for a pretty simple piece of clothing. You get a lot of fundamentals for an okay price, but be aware it's not OOT's finest work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm sure they'll knock me out with their next items, but it's made me hesitant to buy the texture pack, especially at the markup it's at.
To the original question, if past performance guides to future results, I expect another G3M male, and then all G8F girls until November. Something unusual to start off with in July, a character they haven't done before, and then one of the classics, like a Teen Josie equivalent, or Aiko.

Hiya, Fane is my own promo girl for G8, not a Daz original character, so you don't waste energy thinking that way :)
I do a promo girl for each generation and they are usually luminous pale pinup types - custom character creation is fun in the midst of wig making lol! I started making Fane lips, nose and eye morphs for G3 and then G8 came along so had to restart and make it for G8, it will hit the store soon.
I also packaged her with Fane Hair version for G8. I did the hair rig from scratch before I found out how to do it the easier way by transfer utility on the G3 version lol - so those folks who have the G3 version of the hair probably won't need this product and that's great :) At least my Fane promo girl will be out there hehe, I don't expect it to be a big seller, she was for love, of fun ;)

Mystery solved, thank you :) She's lovely, got a Vivienne Leigh vibe about her. Are you saying the G3 character comes with Fane hair? I don't see that in the product description.
I didn't finish the G3 version, I started the character morphs from scratch when G8 was sent to PAs.
I haven't tried yet but I see several people transferring morphs from G3 to G8 and I guess the reverse is possible too! I'm not planning to submit a G3 Fane character to the store though, I'm back to being chained up in the wig shop. :{ lol
She's quite pretty and unique! To me she has an "old timey" classic pinup girl vibe. I like her!
Thanks divamakeup! Old timey style is one of my faves for hairstyles too lol hence Deeta, Harlow, Portia, Marisandra, Wren, Sheridan, and Fane! Not necessarily big sellers but I enjoy them. :) Ok I'll stop highjacking this thread, I promise lol just didn't want to be rude and not say thanks!

Nice. You do very useful characters. I got a *lot* of use out of Calais, and Gabriel, via GenX.
As to what DAZ intends to send out next, with both G2 and G3 the 2nd (female) character base released was something new. G3 was Eva. And I think G2 was Gia. I may be misremembering. But I'm not really expecting a reworking of an existing figure for our next release.
That's definitely my favorite style too! :) I find classic pinup girls and pinup art so pretty and inspiring!
Sadly I don't do Facebook. My family keeps tracking me down (though I've created several profiles lol) and then I get bombarded by their crazy political views. lol I avoid FB like the plague these days. haha
I don't k now who I expect next, but it certainly won't be an updated dog.

I'm hoping we see new things rather than re-treading the same old names every generation, especially considering how easy it is to transfer the G3 characters to G8. But if I were to have a wild guess, maybe Stephanie 8, since she skipped a generation and would be a good contrast to the statuesque V8.

Yeah; a petite adult would be a welcome option. Don't care if it's Stephanie, just not 5'10"... It's not as easy as turning a 'shorter' dial; the body doesn't look quite right when you do that.

Given the proliferation of character bases over the past couple of generations and the increasing potential for confusion, I wouldn't be astonished if they simply renamed everyone but Michael, Aiko and the Girl.
Your Elizabeth Taylor style on I think it is Portia or Harlow or both more or less is still my favorite. I wouldn't mind seeing you do those again for G8F although there is a nice Elizabeth G8F already. If DAZ ever does a dynamic hair system it's be great to see your styles re-created for that dynamic hair system.
