Importing obj in world center

I seem to be suffering from brain drain today as I can't remember how to do this. I have an obj I am importing which I need to load in the world center ie 0,0,0. It is currently loading correctly on the x and z axis but not on the y axis. I have to translate up to get it in position but I need to be able to save it so that it loads in the zero position on the y axis as well. I tried swapping the y and z on import as it was modeled in Modo but that didn't work. I tried zeroing in the parameter setting but that just moves it back down on the Y axis. Can anyone give me the instructions on how to do this? Much appreciated.
