So while trying to solve my "how do I make a crowd?" dilemma, I found a resource.

Downlaoded all 5.7 gigs last night and the files are photoshop PSDs with transparency and shadows.

There's a WeTransfer downlaod link.

https://www.ronenbekerman.com/200-free-2d-cutout-people-case3d/

He says "As I always say – You can never have enough 2d people! And today I’m hosting & sharing Case3D’s 200 3d people cutout pack for all of you to download and use. Enjoy!"

Are the shadows baked in or can you change them?  I'm still a Photoshop and Daz noob.  So much I don't know.

A question asked on the site was if the people used know that their pictures are being used. If these are used in a commercial render I would think any person who can be recognized would need to have signed a photographers release form or the renders might not be accepted.

It says there's a separate shadow layer.

    thanks for the link

it says something about a premade shadow layer ... i suppose you could change your scene lighting to match.
the DL is big, and is pretty slow ...

I'll check it out later tonight.  If you all figure out the shadow thing, let me know.

I'll suggest downloading the individual files - with the "Download all" option download broke for me every time, and no resume support.
