Genesis 8 Default Figure Will Not Load

Is anyone else having this problem?  The category thumbnails are missing, and when I double-click to load the figure, I get the attached error message.  So far I've uninstalled and reinstalled Daz Studio.  I thought I'd check here before starting a ticket.

Have yopu tried uninstalling and reinstalling - closing DS between the two if you use Connect. There was an issue, not directly with the Starter essentiakls but with the Power Pose templates, and fixing it may have messed the metadata for the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials.

Make sure you update DAZ Studio first as you need the G8 starter essentials. Then I did the following:

1. uninstalled the product (right click uninstall)
2. updated metadata (select all products, right click update metadata)
3. reinstalled the product
4. updated metadata (select all products, right click update metadata)
5. refreshed the product (right click refresh)
