Classic Biker Jacket

Need a G3m / G8M classic Biker jacket.

Only ones for sale are very outdated and for m4/m3.

    Yeah I'd really like one of those as well (there is a Dynamic one). And I'm still in the market for an Indiana Jones style one too with lots of morphs. I want to recreate the scene with Henry Jones and Junior escaping the Nazi's on the motorbike with the jacket flapping open and holding their hats on.

    I did a quick google search last night to see if maybe there was one of these on the interweb thingie.  I saw some basic jackets here on Daz, but nothing with the offset zipper and lots of other zippers, and the angled collars.

    I own a jacket like this, and am kind of surprised that someone hasn't made one of these recently for sale here in the Daz library.  At least not that I was able to find.

    The older jacket that the OP mentioned sorta kinda does the job, but I can see how 'dated' the textures and such look on that jacket.  I don't think that simply applying newer shaders to it will help much.  We need an up to date version with better articulation.

    There may be something on another site, but as I said nothing jumped out at me.  The only jackets I saw had a centerline zipper, and not a lot of extra details.

    The Dynamic one doesn't look bad, and should fit OK on newer figures if you have the appropriate Wear Them All or don't mind doing a little work with targetted scaling and such... but we could use something more along the lines of Hongyu levels of control, i.e. a more 'poseable' jacket with various tiers of open, pull left/right, folding collars out, zip and unzip pockets (so you can stick your hands in them), that sort of thing.  Oh, and with the button straps on the shoulders as an option, I see that a lot on biker style jackets.

    I thought that I saw a promising jacket for Genesis 3 females, but I'm not seeing it now (not the x fashion one).  I do see the V3 jacket, that might be what I was thinking of, but yeah it's pretty dated.

    Thanks guys.

    I have a couple of options I'm using in the meantime, including the G8F one from BadkittenCo which autofits somewhat OK, but the point is we should just have a G8M one...  The Badkitten one doesn't have zippable sleeves and doesn't open, though.

    There's an interesting Chameleon Jacket over at Rendo that has the overlapping jacket front, but it's more sport bike-y.

    The one sported by Jensen there has zippable sleeve ends, plus three separate zipper pulls for the two main zippers.  Mainly I was just pointing out Jensen's keen fashion sense!

    I use the G3F https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=113362 by Exnem for my G8M biker-ish figure and it works like a charm. Having different jackets for the different zipper positions is unusual, but works really nice in praxis.

    And it seems to be on sale right now, too... wink

    Looking through the store, it looks like that kind of jacket gets produced for the guys every other generation.

    Unfortunately, this isn't that generation.
