I accidentally closed the special yellow banner at the top of the store page before reading it. Can anybody tell me what it was about? Not asking for any coupon codes or anything, just the gist of the topic.

    It probably relates to the V8 sale.  Look under your messages/exclusive offers in your account page. it should be there.
