Platinum Club + PayPal + Germany = not working

Hi there.

I wanted to purchase a PC membership, paying with PayPal, but PayPal tells me that automatical payments are not legal in my country (Germany), so I cannot purchase the PC membership.
My only idea to bypass this is to purchase gift cards, with them purchase the PC membership, then do the purchase I initially wanted to do? Or is there a better way? (I have no CC)

It's not ideal, but yes, I've heard of other people doing the same thing (outside of getting a CC that is).
