How do I put a texture in a shader?

What must I do if I want to put my own seamless texture bitmap in a shader? I have several textures which I wish to use on buildings, but they must be tiling shaders, to keep loading and rendering time smaller.

You use the Surfaces pane - apply the base shader you wish to use, then click on the little button to the left of the property you want to map to open the image dialogue, select Browse, and load your image. In Iray you can click the same button as econd time, select Image Editor, and set the tiling - in 3Delight, without using a custom shader, tiling is set for the surface as a whole. When done save a Shader Preset (saves settings for the one selected surface, can be applied to any surface) or a Materials preset (saves settings for one or more named surfaces on the model, works only on surfaces with the same names as those saved).
