loft dance studio mirror iray issue

Does any know how to make the 5 mirrors work as one after applying a iray metal or mirror shader. I currently tried changing all mirrors to the iray nickel and also free mirror shader but all I get is five individual mirrors reflections. In 3delight it has them show the room image as one.

What do you mean? I don't have this set, and can't picture what you are seeing.

the loft dance studio scene has five panels that act as a reflective mirror like an actual dance studo would have. rendered in 3delight the panels reflect the image of the room but rendered in iray they are black. changing their surface to an iray surface they will reflect but each panel only acts like one mirror, so you get five of the same images not a combined image like the original. i havent figured out how to get them to react as one mirror and i want to use iray.

I'm not sure how that would even be possible - please post a render showing the effect.

First picture render 3delight untouched. second picture is with the panels surface changed to ray mirror surface. rendered iray only 8% since was taking to long. if i render the first in iray the panels are black.

They aren't identical, but they acting like curved mirrors and capturing a wide-angle view of the scene. One thing to try might be adjusting the smoothing  angle, another adjusting the Index of Refraction closer to 1 - both in the Surfaces pane.

thanks for the help. i turned off smooth for all the mirrors and that did it. i know the scene didnt fully match. to get iray to render the scene i had to use a camera and add lights. the orignal 3delight was render in perspective mode.
