Is there any chance of TerraDome3 coming to Poser?

I know the last two were for both Daz and Poser but this one seesm to be from Daz.

So does anyone know if it's in the works or should I just forget about it?

Not quite true. Both Terradome (original) and Terradome 2 were Poser only. Terradome 3 was a complete rebuild for DAZ Studio. So, I doubt TerraDome 3 will ever be for Poser

I believe the PA's were asked this question when the product debuted. The answer was an emphatic NO. A poser version would need to be a completely different product.

I seem to recall it was actually the other way round.  DS users wanted to use terradome and it had to be completely rebuilt as a new item  for this to happen.  Terradome 1&2 are purely poser.

It's true, as far as the materials are concerned, in both directions.

I was talking about Terradome 3 , the subject of this post.

actually the good news is not only could you have picked up all the existing TD2 content cheap but Mortem Vetus and Traveller are apparently working on new content for it going by Facebook comments.

So it is by no means abandoned.

Yes, at this point the nature of the basic materials for state of the art Poser and state of the art DS is so different that it makes little sense trying to make a compromise product that works in both but not as well in either.  I picked up Terradome 2 back in Decmeber and the invoice says that I paid... Holy Cow, it was free!  Not sure what kind of deal that was, but TD2 and TD3 are pretty comparable in terms of what they do re: their respective target software, if not HOW they do it, and the major innovation in TD3, Iray, is something that's simply not applicable to Poser in the first place.

So was I.  Versions 1&2 were for Poser.  They said for DS users to be able to use it they would have to completely rebuild it, which is what they did to make TD 3

3 is basically the DAZ studio equivalent of TD2 AFAIK
