what are aniblocks for?

I have them in my smart content under "poses" but all they seem to do is make the figure move and then returns it to the same pose it started with. What's the point of that, I wonder?

    Aniblocks are for animation.

You can link them together to make complex animations.
When you tested the aniblocks, the figure went through whatever cycle it was supposed to go through, then when it finished returned the figure to its original position.
    .
aniblocks are a very powerful tool when doing animation in Daz and Carrara.
