Can you Extend the Camera Focal Point Guide Line? (DOF)

Is there a way to extend the green line that indicates the camera focal point when using DOF?

Sometimes if the subject and/or camera is in an awkward position it's difficult to get the focal point just right. Mainly when trying to focus in for sharp eyes when the head is at an angle. If I could extend the green line it would make things much easier as I'd be able to see what's in focus along the Y axis.

Select the camera, then go to Perspective view in the Viewport. Parameters>Camera 1>Camera?Focal Distance will move the focal point. As with a camera F stop will also change the Depth of Field
