Just a Note of Thanks

I got an email about a fantastic sale from a competing 3D content marketplace and went there to buy some stuff today. It's a site I rarely go to because everything about using it is like a punishment. On literally every page they give customers a reason to close the browser window and not come back.

This experience made me want to say something in appreciation of how good we've got it in DAZ's content marketplace.

• The site is fast and responsive!
• The store offers ways to narrow down what you're searching for--and doesn't display irrelevant sponsored "hits" at the top of every catalog page. Also, you can choose to show all of your narrowed-down catalog list on one page and keep scrolling if you prefer not to wait for page reloads. I love it!
• Despite occasional glitches, checkout is usually fast, smooth, and easy.
• Once you've bought content, it's available to you immediately, and Install Manager makes it a breeze to download the new stuff and make it ready to use. Fast, fast, fast.
• The flash sales and fast-grabs keep us--well, me at least--curious enough to keep visiting the store several times a day, just in case...
• Tech support is available, you can contact them any time, and they are friendly and as helpful as possible considering they are helping users work with packages created by third parties.
• The PAs produce awesome stuff, and some, like SickleYield, try to share their knowledge and help users develop creation skills.
• DAZ provides these fora where we can help one another, and many of you do offer great advice and assistance.

Overall, this is a pretty nice place to be.

The best part of DAZ3D is the excellent customer service.

But shopping here is a complete waste of my time when sales (such as last Saturday's VP sale) are pulled early before I can complete my purchase !!!

While I agree DAZ is a great place to shop and hangout, much of what you describe is not an issue for me there or doesn't bother me. I can usually find what I need/search for at both places pretty easily, check out is pretty simple for me at both places and I am able to use content right after from both places, then again I never use the install manager. There seems to be plenty of sales at other stores also IMO. The forums here are alot more friendly though, I will give you that, probably due to the mods more than anything. Again, great note and I agree that DAZ is great, just had to comment so new users don't think that your experience at other stores is the norm, I feel variety and competition is a great thing.
