Love these, Diomede!  Of course, I am partial to pulp book covers and movie posters.

With luck, I will be entering something in a similar vein.

Now I want to see the film!

Thanks, UB and Phil.  OK, I admit it.  I am addicted to the head of Marcello's killer tomato file.  Here, I tried to create an expression morph for sadness and a gesture to wipe a tear.  Not sure it worked.  If you can get beyond the bad lighting, you might see a "sad tomato" whose "tears flow like wine."

Inspired by part of a classic movie, and a classic jazz standard, but not a movie poster.

Bunyip, Tomatozilla looks great.  You have finally sold me on Filter Forge.  Just picked it up.  My 3D budget is blown for a couple of months, but I can't wait to start playing with it.

great effect on that Render Stezza, I think you might win your own prize so be careful.

  • HeadwaxHeadwax Posts: 9,929

put a comma between the render and the stezza for that last one , though the nomenclature Render Stezza has ring to it

  • StezzaStezza Posts: 7,823

lol... I think 'Supweme Wulers' win everything anyways don't they... they are diabolical angel

The Tom & Cherry is 3 seperate renders.. one was PR render with a shadow pass, an NPR line render and a ToonII render composited in PSE with a sketch filter applied to the shadow layer & ToonII layer. I thinks thats what I did... indecision

Really appreciate the tips, Supweme Wuler.  Tom and Cherry could win this thing.

This post is a makeup post.  Just realized I didn't include any WIP post for setup of the Swamp Thing parody, Swamp Tomato.  Really hadn't necessarily intended to enter any of these, but Swamp Tomato really tickled me, so I entered it.

    - To create my version of the tomato head monster for the swamp, I started with genesis.  To get a green swamp-monster-ish skin, I applied a shader from the Ogre preset that I had optimized for Carrara materials.  I loaded the free killer tomato from GK Dantas (thank you again).  I edited the mesh in the vertex modeler to create some eye sockets and inserted some spheres with shader domains for pupils, irises, etc.  I parented it to the head of genesis.

Now that is going to be a good image, Varsel.  Nice adaptation of the soldier uniform.

Here is a still life of one of my favorite meals.  The shaders and the lighting need a lot of work, but I like the idea.

EDITED to add test render done with packaging scene included in Carrara native content.

    Nommmmmms cheeky
