Can someone help me with my kitbashing?

I make GI Joe comics and I have wanted an old school destro for a while but can't seem to get a good way to go. So iwanted to reach out hear for ideas.  Any ideas on where to get a shirt like that? Or a good looking destro mask? I linked how the Sunbow cartoon one has eyebrows but can't seem to find a good way to make it happen. Any help would be appreciated.

    Oof..not an easy costume to try...The colar is the big problem point.  It's such a weird thing, I'm not sure I could even think of what you could use to make it look right without just modeling something yourself.

    Maybe go Iron Grenadier Destro?

    The Helmet is easy enough though...it really comes down to how you want it to look.. the cartoon really just gave him a silver head..it wasn't really a mask.  You could simpy shape your figure's head the way you want then apply a metal shader. You could also make a "life like" mask, by shaping a figure, making it a little bigger, exporting the figure as an object, importing it as an object, cutting off the head in the geometry editor, and having Destro wear that.

    The collar is going to be the tricky thing.

    Doing a quick search, I'm thinking that the War Mage for G2M coat (with everything below the belt and the sleeves hidden) could be a good start (simply recolor the textures).  You could use a D-Former on the collar area to extend it upwards a bit, to achieve the 'high collar' look that Destro has.

    Most of the Dark Whisper for G3M outfit looks like it'd fit Destro pretty well.  Just lose some or all of the coat...

    I seem to remember seeing another high collar outfit, but I"m not finding it at the moment.  The GIS Empress has a high collar, but it's positioned improperly as compared to Destro's collar.

    Some ideas for ya, anyways...

    Actually, the Glow Fi armor JUST put in the store has a high collar like that and may work for ya. :)

    Nice suggestion RKane!  That looks like it'd be much less work!

    The glowies were making that product uninteresting to me, plus I already have a number of bodysuits, hence why I didn't click on that product to notice the details.

    So started messing arround with war mage, Guy is starting to look a like a destro.  Needs a medallion and what not.  Going to maybe check out glow fi to see if it fits better.  Definatly trying to get destros disco look down.

    I was just going through ShareCG and noticed that Vacasoft has an old freebie set called Evil Masks for M4 that includes one that wouldn't make a bad base for a Destro mask if you want it to look like a full head mask. Between autofit, a metal shader and some opacity/cutout maps, it ought to get you 98% of the way there.

    I would go with the Glow-Fi armor, make a morph to pump up the collar and Smooth some of the Greeble out.

    Change the materials to Destro's Colors.

    Use a metal band shader (Found a nice one at Rendo - https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/iray-pbr-pro-scifi-shaders-mr/117449/) for metal and banded metal for his skin and face.

    If you want to kitbash, the expansion pack for the Genesis 2 female Morphing Fantasy Dress has an add-on stand-up collar that you can probably scale to fit a jacket. Very low cost now in the DAZ Originals sale. The first link to the V4 version has a better pic of it.
