About "Boeing P-26A Peashooter (for Poser)" product. Its Game Ready!

This is a Dream Cutter 3D creation.  Its mis-marked asn DIGIMATION Artist ATM, but it was developed 100% by Dream Cutter from scratch and its brokered by VanishingPoint to DAZ Store.  I was not quite prepared for the release so I want to explain the product, as it has a lot more features than appear. THIS NOT A TEXTURED VERSION OF THE FREE P-26A on SketchFab this model has way more detail inclkuding engine and mechanics modeled  Also the decals on surfaces are Texture Groups so you can replace with other decals without affecting underlying surface.

FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The 1932 Boeing P-26A Peashooter is perhaps the coolest aircraft ever built, and certainly has more character than all other Boeing planes combined. A true first in many respects, the Boeing P-26 was the first production all metal monoplane, the last plane to use wing supports, and the only warplane ever plane treated with art-deco embellishments from wingtip to tail. As Powered by the reliable Pratt and Whitney 9 Cylinder WASP radial engine this was Boeing`s only attempt to produce a fighter to this day. The distinguishable P-26 Peashooter served the US Army Air Corps from post WWI into early WWII out of bases from TX, OH, CA and HI. As the US Air Force was established the remaining P-26`s were used for Training and Panama Canal defense. As the Peashooter became obsolete, the remaining P-26 squadrons were split up and sold to foreign nations including air corps representing South America, Asia, Europe and Africa n the post WWI and into WWII. The first kills in a P-36 were recorded by the Chinese Army Air Corps when they successfully repelled an Japanese invasion of 20 medium bombers in 1937.

Propeller spins, flight surfaces work, gauges move, bombs drop and gun blaze making this a a true action oriented figure licensed for 3d real time rendering, making it the perfect complement for Poser Pro Game Dev editions.

Poser Master Control parameters were developed to mimic actual flight and weapons operations by combining multiple parameter adjustments in sequence so that one adjustment affects several aspects of the model. For instance using the Master Flight Control "Roll Aircraft" will adjust the position of the cockpit flightstick, the opposing position of the wing ailerons and the bank of the airframe. The same level of control is applied to the "Pitch Aircraft" and even "Yaw Aircraft where rudders move in sequence with the cockpit pedal action. Weapons Simulation is also modeled and the master parameters are configured fire machine gun bursts with ammo belt feed and tracer fire sequenced action while the Bomb Release will simulate a sequenced bomb dispense.

The 236K poly figure is fully 3d modeled and rigged for close up detail, even with just shaders applied. However, full texture sets are included for Boeing factory "prototype" and US Army versions. Also included are optional textures for cockpit and decal detail should you decide to reduce mesh further for game engine use.

The pilot figure shown in the images and animation is not included.

Details: Its a complicated item, its not perfect but its cool because its highly animated.  I offer it to customers with FULL GAME USE PRIVILAGES... because thats the kind of developer I am.  Speakimng of game features, this Peashooter Boeing P26-A has  TONS of animation items that work great in games including boimb droip and cooridinated controls with surfaces.  Its best rendered and applied in Poser Game Edition 2014 and above.  Please contact if you hgave questions.

Not decided yet, but I'm sure to take a better look at the promos....  The price is nice right now cheeky .... Being game-ready is not really of import for me atm, but a nice extra....

(hopefully, exporting from Poser to Vue works nicely ... Vue infinite 2016 is not always playing nice with P11Pro....)

That P 26-A Peashooter is a fully rigged Poser figure, shows up as a figure not prop in the runtime.  Its not a Vue product. It will import fine into Vue.  Vue will import Poser PZ3 with animation and shaders. If your using a upgraded release of Poser than Vue supports in its latest release, point to the compatable Poser .exe BUT STILL USE THE LATEST VERSION.  It works fine this way.   WRT to the product rigged features, it uses alot of ERC to animate so do this in Poser timeline, save and then link with Vue so it will animate when you advance timeline.

The product works fine in DAZ Studio 4.9 too. Just import Poser runtime via the Content Library Tab.  To do this and right on the Tab. click and select Content Directory Manager.  Then Add the runtime folder directory using the ADD buton when the Poser Format content set is highlighted.

cheeky been using Poser/Vue combo for about 10 years already, from P7/Vue 6 to my present setup. And no stranger to DS either. I'm no expert, but I do know my way around when it comes to exporting/importing figures and/or props between these 3 programs.....  (Still got to install the very latest Vue update, as I don't like doing that in the middle of a  test-project I'm currently running.....)

And thank you for the pointers on animation: I mostly render stills, but I am beginning to try-out (very) small animations ...

Alas, it looks like the special sale is over already sad ...... (that's the problem with DAZ3D, not always clear when certain sales end.... and I gues I saw this one too late - for me - to decide....), so wishlisted (sorry) for now..
