Props to Mattymanx! (ok, bad pun)

I'm a fan of Mattymanx's work (especially his vehicles) and today he's got a nicely functional 9mm pistol in store, which is great! The point of this post though is to say how much I appreciate the work he does not just on his products, but on his product PAGES. Just about every detail you'd want to know about his product is featured in a store page. Product from a variety of angles. Functional parts depicted. "Clay/AO" renders. Surfaces. Polycounts. IRay *and* 3Delight renders. That's a lot of extra work and although there are a handful of PAs who go to similar lengths, I wish more PAs did likewise, especially depicting the available Surfaces. Mattymanx sets the bar, IMO.

This does look awesome. I confess if I didn't own nearly all the guns in the store, I'd have bought it today. I still may...

I was thinking the same thing when I browsed his store some days ago...

Mattymanx's two new pistols are going to cause me to break my budget this month.

Grrr.. seeing this made me realize that I have a Matty prodcut I don't have loaded that would have made some stuff I've been doing this weekend a lot better. sigh.

I appreciate the fact that it has poses for not only G3f/m but G2f/m. Thank you Matty for including G2/

And this! I knew I'd left something out of my list of all the great stuff he includes, lol. I mean, seriously, hand poses for males and females of two generations? It's funny that we should be so happy to get this, but that's because it's so indicative of how infrequently we get it with other relevant products. And while it's not necessarily difficult to take an unfired bullet model and use the Geometry Editor or a modeling app to turn that into a separate shell casing and bullet, providing both options is just one more level of detail few other PAs seem to go to. He even goes so far as to describe the bullet load position.

I was reading a post here the other day where someone mentioned that if not for customer renders being shared, the OP would not have purchased a particular product because the PA apparently didn't do his or her own product justice with the official promo renders. Some buyers take the attitude of, "Well, Daz has a great 30-day return policy," but having a store page as thorough as one of Matty's must help reduce the likelihood of a return. I just hope his products continue to sell well so he is willing to devote the time necessary to create such thorough store pages.
