Slow Rendering Character
It seems I have a sluggish character.
She's a V7HD, custom morphed slider-by-slider. It takes up to 11 minutes for her to export to Iray. A simple scene of just her, some clothes, and a small set reached 500 iterations in 30 minutes. Based on that, the render will finish in about five hours, which seems extreme for a simple scene in Iray.
Another character, who is just a tweaked FWSA Nadine, exported in 2 minutes, and finished within 30. She even had a more elaborate costume and set, and light emitting objects.
It isn't the skin. Both characters wear the same set, and the settings are identical. It isn't her hair (Free Spirit). I turned it off, with no appreciable gain in speed. No displacement maps anywhere. The only thing I can figure is those individual morphs are slowing the first character down.
Any thoughts?
Oh, I'm using DS 4.9.3 Pro, and my GPU is a GTX-1060.
EDIT: I'm wondering about turning all those individual morphs into one character morph and applying it to a base G3F.

4.9.3.what?
4.9.3.166. I only installed it a week ago, so it ought to be the latest release.
HD? Are the subdivision levels the same on both characters?
Both are set to 3. I'm not sure exactly how the HD works on a character that is HD out of the box. In the case of the second character, it's a FW Nadine. For her, I didn't engage the V7HD slider.
Okay. Problem solved. Sorta.
After experimenting with different things, I decided what the heck. I still had Studio 4.9 Beta installed, so I rendered her in that. She's rendering at Iray's usual lightning speed. 500 iterations in ten minutes (including her slow export time). So, there's something about this character (combined with my card?) that isn't fully supported yet. No problem. I can render her in Beta until the next full release of Studio. Odd, but hey, it works.
