Ghost pirate clothes for M3?

DaWaterRatDaWaterRat Posts: 2,885

I realize this is something of a Hail Mary play, but ...

Way, way back, there was a pirate outfit for M3 (no longer in the store), and I could have sworn I bought all the texture expansions for it, including one of some fairly tattered "ghost pirate" (a la Pirates of the Caribean) clothing.

I can't remember what the actual product name was to search for it in my library, I'm 90% certain it is no longer in the store and I'm growing increasingly concerned that I never purchased it.

I realize that I have other ways of doing a skeleton in pirate garb than using the old M3 stuff, but believe it or not, finding this texture set would be easier than just about all of them.

Anyone here remember it?  It may have been one of the ones Raw Art retired, as I think it was meant to go with the ghost ship.

I was going to say Davy Jones Locker, but that is still in the store and doesn't seem very ghostly. There was a set Meshworkz did, I know that had a ragged castaway version for its Spanish Princess gown but I'm not sure about the males.

We didn't do a ghost or tattered for The Princess and the Pirate that I can recall.  Only other ship stuff that's tattered that I could find is  https://www.daz3d.com/shipwrecked and Slosh’s which is naval https://www.daz3d.com/shipwrecked-and-undead-for-naval-uniform

    Yeah, I have Shipwrecked.

The only skeletons I have are the Mil 3 ones (and I think one or two "generic" ones) so I was hoping to use the old Pirate Pack for M3 clothing on it to make things easy.

But the M3 Skeleton doesn't deform horribly when fit to Genesis 1, so I guess that will work.

    Thanks for looking.

And if anyone can point me to the Pirate Pack texture, I'm still looking.

All i can find is "Pirate Pack for M3" or "Pirates Adventure" by LaurieS.

Hope this helps you track it down.

There is also "Pirate of the Damned" on Rendo, but that doesnt uses a different Skeleton, but it has a more tattered look to it.
    Good Luck!

I believe you're talking about Davy Jones Ghost by RawArt, which has been discontinued.  You might try contacting the artist directly.

Oh, and if that doesn't work out, I can highly recomend Mortem Vetus M4 PIrate sets as an excellent option that's still in the store.  The Black Flag Bundle https://www.daz3d.com/black-flag-bundle and it's components are RDNA items and frequently go on sale for crazy prices... I paid less than $7.00 for the whole she-bang, and all they really need is a few holes added to the transmaps.

    Yep.  That was it.

I like Mortem Vetus' pirate stuff, but I already have the pirate clothing and tattered textures for Genesis, so I wound up using that and the old M3 Skeleton (since I never got the M4 one).

And then when I got the picture done, he wound up being a small figure on the bottom of the image.. :p

I know how that goes.  I recently did a render set in a fast food restaurant and spent a good bit of time creating original food packaging, signs and labels with clever logos and slogans and even indivudualized employee ID badges... and then in the final render, over 90% of it wasn't readable due to the angle or lighting glare.  :/
