There isn't much for genesis 3, but some around for older generations. male or female?

Yeah I've noticed. I need both male and female if possible.

What usually happens is that it is such a smalle niche need that when done for older figures it probably didn't do well and thus the vendor decided not to do one again for newer figures.

here are some ideas you might be able to make work with autofitting and retexturing

You could also try retexturing one of the many pirate outfits

    That's a shame, but I can't say I don't understand the economics of it.

Thanks for the links and I will give the pirates a look as well.

That is 3D for you. In many cases it pays to know how to model your own items. If I knew how to rig, I probably would make everything I need. For instance, the new western bundle, it looks great, but there is a huge lack of quality western wear, so it's kinda pointless for me to buy a great looking western scene when I have no people to put in it, LOL. Even the pose set promos, have modern looking people in them.

As for colonial, I was wanting to do a scene after watching some documentaries and a few shows like last of the mohicans a few months back, but found nothing I could use made for DS, so i used some models from the games I play (Assassins creed, LOL) for this image

Eh, there's two male cowboy outfits for Genesis 3, and any victorian-ish, edwardian-ish dress, from Vintage Rose to Hanami to Victoria Iven, will do for the women of the setting. There does not seem to be a proper Victorian/Edwardian/dapper gambler/rich banker outfit for G3M, although maybe Grantham Hall for G2M would autofit.

    Corsair for M5 and Genesis

Crimson Seas for Genesis 3 Male(s)

    Crimson Seas Outfit Textures

    Doomed Poet Clothing

    Leon di Castiglia

    Leon Estates

    Lockwood for M4

There's also the PC+ Pirate gear for male and female with their numerous texture sets. Check out Medieval/Fairy Tale and Western clothing to see what can be kitbashed.

If you are worrying at all about having any Native Americans in the mix in your colonial setting, this bundle is worth a look.

$1.99 for PC+ members,  It has a lot of stuff in it.  Parts of the M4 and V4 outfits should work for several tribes, as for the 'Cheyenne specific' stuff, some of that might be able to be adapted, depending on how historically accurate you are trying to be.
