Will this product work?

I am interested in getting the following product:

https://www.daz3d.com/formula-x

But before I do, I would like to know, will it work with DAZ Studio 4.9?

You should just need to update the shader material to iRay or let the iray render do that for you.

  • Just so I can know for sure, how do I do that?

I dont think so, as i think this is the Bryce version only and it will not work in DS.  However, the vendor of this product sells a DS compatible version @ Rendo under the same name.

It says on the info page that there are poser and bryce versions included, so just use the poser version, apply the DAZ iray uber shader to it and you should be fine.

Note the poses likely won't work with the modern figures.

Here is a render In Iray in latest version of Daz Studio 4.9. It works great and just use Iray shaders on extra parts and textures work fine without Iray conversion. Note I just added Iray crome shader to model no other modification. To get poses to work just load M3 and use pose then add your favorite character and use M3 as guide to pose figure. Happy rendering

I saw that as well, but in the product description, it only said Bryce so i figured it was only the Bryce version and the description actually wasnt udated. Kinda wierd also as the vendor who's product it is, is no longer in the Daz3D Marketplace, but this product is over at Rendo.
