Viability of texture only product?

Been tinkering with some weird figure skins, and I'm wondering... I swear I've read on the forum that Daz doesn't tend to like products that are only textures, but will try to match PAs up with others to do morphs or props or whatnot.

Is that accurate?

They do that for commisions and buyouts, like they commision one person to model, and one person to texture, etc., but not for PA products. The might take a skin pack without morphs if the promos were compelling, and if it enhanced morphs that already exist.
