Bugs, bugs and more bugs.
Seems like ive been submitting alot of bugs lately. So I thought that I would create a general thread where I can list any of the bugs that I find in the products that I purchase. Im not going to post past bugs but if you keep up with The Commons, you may have seen them scattered about.
If anyone else would like to list bugs for the stuff that they buy, please do. Try to adhere to a few rules when posting so that the bugs can be seperated from the general conversation.
1. Post bug title in bold print.
2. Include a picture. Pictures are fun!
3. If a workaround exists, please list it so that others may benefit from your knowledge.
While I am going to list steps to repro, this is more for the benefit of the readers than the testers. So if you dont want to list the repro steps, cool, just try and be clear and concise in the bug title. And please, try to reproduce your issue a few times before posting just to make sure that you have a legitimate issue. Most importantly, write a ticket. If Daz dosent know about the problem, they wont be able to fix it.
And now, on to the filthy, dirty bugs.

Skinny Jeans and Corset Outfit. Deformation in left shin of skinny jeans when twisting left thigh of model.
https://www.daz3d.com/skinny-jeans-and-corset-outfit-for-genesis-3-female-s
1. Load skinny jeans to model.
2. Twist left thigh of model into positive range.
3. Observe deformation of skinny jeans left shin. (see pic)
Notes:
The deformation is stronger on some models than others. Of three models tested, Genevieve 7 showed the worst deformation.
Workaround:
The default smoothing on the jeans is 3. Lower this until the deformation is gone. For Genevieve, turning the smoothing down to zero seemed to fix the problem.
Bug Update:
Nyla: Model breaks from side-side movement on Nyla : rFoot, Nyla : lFoot and Nyla : head.

Its looking like Nyla was mistakenly listed as Daz compatible. The store page has been updated to reflect that it is Poser compatible only. I asked for comfirmation on this from tech support but its looking like ds purchasers may have to ask for a refund.
I liked Nyla...
I purchased Make a Mess: https://www.daz3d.com/make-a-mess
I have the required product: Morphing fantasy dress.
The DIM installer installs nothign for me. The Connect file installs an empty folder.
I have no idea how to get this product to work. I have spent 40 minutes trying to find it and load it.
I am highly frustated, so I will likely return it.
Answered you here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/164646/make-a-mess-no-connect-installer-and-dim-not-showing-up-for-some-reason#latest
Yes thank you. That isn't clear at all to me as the term propmorph is not one I've encountered before. Thanks for your time. I Was thinking was actually a prop set.
I had not noticed this product before. Wishlisted!
I installed it twice and the morphs simply don't show up. I've had it too long to return.
It installs the morphs on morphing fantasy dress. if the product is installed load the dress and the morphs should show here (see screenshot). What is frustrating, is they should've made some presets. The sliders really don't show you what you are getting until you dial it . Also, because all the images show textures, I thought there would be some or something
Confirmed. No plans for DS support for Nyla. If you only use ds and you purchased Nyla, you may want to consider a refund.
