Colour Change Question

Is there a way to change the colour of an outfit in Daz Studio without using shaders? I am using an outfit with feathers and would like to change them from black to white if possible.

What do you mean, without shaders? Surface properties depend on shaders so anything will use them - changing the base colour or applying an adjusted map for example.

Depending on the lightness of the bump map that comes with it that might work, try plugging it into the base color/diffuse channel.  If it's too dark you might be able to get away with taking the base color/diffuse out entirely and setting the color to white or light grey, should look okay if the rest of the stuff (bump, normal, specular) is done well.

Since you're starting from black, you can't just adjust the base color.

What Fisty said might work with the bump.

If not, you'll want a program like Photoshop or GIMP.  You can click on the image in the diffuse, click Browse, then when the window opens right-click on the image and open with your photo editing program.  You could try using the bump that's too dark, lighten it and apply a base color (or through the photo editing program).  Be sure to save as a different file name.
