Something like this, showing one ear, wavey and looks great pitch black. Suggestions anyone?:-)

Isn't there a jessica rabbit hair that's coming out that would fit this bill?

I'm kinda wishing Dita would get with someone who does Celeb Portrait and have one done...

I just did something interesting. I contacted Dita Von Teese. Here is what I wrote:

Has Ms. Teese ever considered having a 3D Portrait of herself done for sale? I've noticed there is some interest among the 3D Community.

    THe reply was thus:

I will ask:) Do you have an example of your work?
    Sincerely,
    Jena Von Teese

    To which I replied:
    Ms Jena,

I actually was not specifically talking about doing this myself. There are several other artists out there who have done amazing work that I would want to put you in contact with. Some examples I can think of off the top of my head are these:

    Danae
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=danae

    Godin
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=Godin

    XP Pointblank

    Vyktohria:

Currently, DAZ 3D has the most advanced commercially available 3D figure there has ever been available for free on the market. Artists use that figure to create characters which add value to the figure and sell those characters to the general public (ie: 3D Hobbyists, mostly).

As there is interest in Dita Von Teese, I though it would be wise for Ms. Von Teese to capitalize upon this interest rather than let the opportunity pass by.

I contacted you simply because I am a fan, and it was an idea that I thought might be of interest. I have no commercial interest in such a project other than as a consumer.

    Christian Holm
I imagine they're looking into it... we shall see :)

If you goto dita.com you might try contacting them yourself and backing up what I told them :)

There is Sophie von Rayne over at RDNA which seems to be based on Dita:

Doesn't look much like her. Dita has far softer features.

    I said "based on", not a 3D clone! ^_-

But I think it is still the kind of bombshell beauty that got the pin-up feeling of the 50s.

that's fine, but what we're asking for is an authorized portrait :)

The ORIGINAL, meaning Dita Von Teese herself, is in conversation with a premier character artist deciding if she wants to have her 3D Portrait done with Genesis :)
