What version of DS? Encrypted scripts will not run in DS versions older than the one used to save them
I got it to work doing the following:
NOTE: Will not work if figure it not selected. I had the camera selected the first time and nothing happened. LOL
Oh, this is fun! Could become addictive! Now to try them on G3M...
Here's Darwin's new character Evan for G3M wearing Luthbel's Night World Lone Wolf for M3. He's like, "Oh, really?"
I'm using Studio 4.8 and it does NOT work. So it seems 4.9 is necessary.
Sigh. It's not like it's dependent on something special in 4.9. This sucks.
I'm using 4.9 and it works without any problems. Sorry you're having trouble with it.
I'm not 'having trouble with it' it simply does not work in 4.8. Everything says 4.9 on the store page these days, but nothing in the description says it won't work with anything less than 4.9 when most other stuff does. It only says 'DAZ Studio only'.
Edit: Didn't mean to sound harsh (no coffee yet) it's just I'm very disappointed.
Spit, you are correct, there should really be a specific mention in the description that it will not work in versions below 4.9.3.166. The truth is I did not know, or had forgotten, that encrypted scripts were limited in this way until I read Richard's comment above, so I must apologise.
It's okay. Sorry it doesn't work right in 4.8. You're right- there really is no way to know that on many of the product pages.
Thanks for the acknowledgment. I put in a ticket last night requesting that it be recompiled under 4.8 and updated. There's no reason it should not be available to the many users who have not been able to update to 4.9 yet. I'm actually surprised your testers only use 4.9.
Hello, how do I save them as pose presets? I have tried but it doesn't seem to work.
If you check the Lower Jaw (which includes the Lower Face Rig) and the Upper Face Rig boxes in the Pose Preset dialog, that should be enough.
Doesn't save the eyes fully.
First attachment is expression generated from randomizer. Second shows what happens when I save expression as preset (even checked all the boxes), zero expression, and load preset.
Probably a bug in Studio. Still a useful ultility but kind of a bummer it doesn't save.
I think you need to show the presets with the limits on. If you go to the Preferences dialog (Edit > Preferences) and click on the Content tab, you will see how your presets are set up. You have the option to show the "Preset Exceeds Limits" dialog when loading a preset, or to always have the limits on or off. Try loading the preset with limits on and see what happens.
Hey, that fixed it right up! Just as you suspected, my limits were off. I changed it to show the dialog and then clicked to keep the limits when prompted.
Still not sure WHY doing that fixed the problem...since when I saved the expression originally, it looked fine at the time of save.
But, a fix is a fix and I'm not complaining! Thanks for the quick answer!
