What happened to Delete Orphaned Files?

Hi all,

I used File Manager to delete a Pose Preset that I made, but the dead Pose Preset is still in my Posing>Saved Files>Presets>Poses pane, its icon replaced with an exclamation mark (because the underlying file is gone). I searched the forums and it said I should right-click on Content Library to get Content DB Maintenance, then click Delete Orphaned Files.

But there is no option in Content DB Maintenance for Delete Orphaned Files.

Where did it go, and is there now any way to delete icons for deleted poses, shaders, etc?

You should be able to delete via right-click, though as I recall (DS is rendering at the moment) you need to do that from the Content Library pane rather than Smart Content.

    Hi Richard,

The pose preset is already deleted and does not appear on the Content Library pane. But that exclamation mark (for a dead file) icon is still in my Paremeters pane under Posing>Saved Files>Presets>Poses. I'm trying to clear it out of that list, in the Parameters pane.

    Thanks, Crissie

Look in the Content Library pane under Categories>Default>Saved Files>Presets>Poses. If you find it there right-click and select Remove Reference.

    Hi Richard,

    That did it. Thanks!
