Yesterday's "newly + DO = 95% off" debacle- anyone?

Anyone have that resolved by Daz yet?

My ticket is still unanswered and I was wondering what the haps was.

They had ad-speak

"Buy any Newly Mad item and choose 1 featured Daz Original for 95% OFF** "

And it seemed like some items defeated the bundle price and others were okay OR you could have put 1 newly and grabbed EVERY item for discount....

Anyone get a clear resolution to this?

    Bummer if that was today I could have gotten another pro bundle or something cool like that.   I did not see that probably because I did not look as I did not have money yesterday.

    Was it a debacle? It seemed to work fine for me. I bought one new release, a related item, and one of the 'featured' DOs for cheap. (one of the uinimesh clothing bundles.) Cost me $15 and change. I was happy!

    (They didn't have any new bundles in the 'featured' list, Miss Wolf. So you didn't lose out.)

    Well, the first one I took advantage of, I assumed it was a one-time deal like the last time. So I did the same as you.

    But then for sh-and giggles, I decided to try it again and it worked again. So EVERY time you buy a newly, you get the bundle for pennies.

    I did not know- no where did it say how that deal works. So I had previously grabbed MANY of the newlys, which I could have bought separately and triggered the deals.

    But then, I put several of the bundles in the cart AND THEY ALL dropped down to 95% off. Some items cancelled the discount and some did not.

    By then, I ran out of Newlys and the only thing left were expensive gamer licenses.

    So If I could have triggered the discount with only ONE newly, I would have done that. OR if it was supposed to be One Newly for One DO @ 95%.

    I want to break apart the huge grouping of newlys I purchased to get the discounts by buying the newlys one at a time.

    It cost the same amount either way. I just couldn't get the 95% discount on top.

    If this was during the week, I could have returned items the same day and repurchased with discount, but it was the weekend so everything was frozen.

    That's why I also suggested starting the "weekend" on Friday their time at noon.

    That ties up money- that could have been used for the rest of the weekend. And now today even.

    Repeatable deals that are 'buy 1 new, get 1 old' are pretty common so I'm pretty sure that's how it was intended to work. 

    And you are very optimistic about getting tickets resolved in within a workday on weekdays! I usually expect a full 48 hour turnaround. 

    One tip: the sales go up at midnight Daz time but it's usually better to wait on buying until after, say, 10-11AM Daz time.  Bugs get worked out, sales mechanics get tested and you can decide if you want to bundle a new release with a FG or flash sale.

    Well last time they had Buy a, get a, it was a one-shot. But I see what you mean.

    I just wish it clearly spelled out what the terms were. They usually have the little disclaimer symbol so you read the fine print.

    Yeah, it's been a few that were in the same day, but it depends on how big the issue is and how many it affects...

    March Madness done wore me out, but they STILL caught me today again. I'm a  about to have peanut butter ona roll for dinner. lol

    I grabbed a Medusa tiara last week. A woman with python skin parts a few days ago and now an actual PYTHON(s) IS ON SALE.

    No friggin way. And so I grabbed a snake-lady (Gorgon, I think) that wasn't on sale, but will all add up to an incredible story.

    That will be some character.

    And that's how they get me. Just when I think it's safe to put the wallet away, they pull me back in.

    After Stonemason's release (an incredible one) I have no idea what's in store (no pun) for tonight.

    I'm begging for a break, but Daz seem determined to bankrupt us all.
    Annnnnd I'll be staying up to find out.

    Nooo nooo never buy anything that isn't on sale. Never! Unless you need it RIGHT NOW for some kind of Business Purposes. It is Rule #1 I tell people who are interested in Daz art.

    Yeah, that was stupid. I could have at least waited another coupla week. AND I USED MY MONTHLY COUPON....crying
