I kept thinking 'curtains'. And the material zones thing is also something I've actually wished for.

With you. It's the every da things like that I see making or breaking a shot. Not being there, no one notices, but it just doesn't "feel" right". Like misc suff on a coffee table or outlets and switches on a wall.

Which is why I HIGHLY advocate Set 1! OUTLETS where I live are required every 8', though I put them every 4' along walls where I know they are neeed. Walls without look SO wrong.

Wow, that looks amazing! Now I'm going to need more store credit.

Thanks!  It was pretty exhausting to build, too.  So many things that have to be able to work together in a thousand different possible combinations.  But I think it came out well.

It looks like Faveral came up with a pretty good way to 'fake' snapping. I don't know if you've investigated MICK at all. It wouldn't work quite as well with your variably-sized wall pieces, of course. and I don't know if using his innovation would be unethical (but since you're working in different eras, I'd hope not.) But it's so simple and intuitive it's one of those things that's hard to partition off once you've seen it.
