How to leave invisible only the column of this skeleton (poser)?

Hello
The skeleton in poser has its ribs and hip with only one material for both so that if I try to leave the ribs invisible, part of the spine also becomes invisible
Is there a way to solve this?
Or does anyone know a free column that can squirm like a snake? Thank you

Use the grouping Tool to select the unwanted parts, assign them to a new surface, and make that transparent - though you may find that leaves holes in the remaining mesh.
