Printing images.

Could someone help with this please.

Once an illustration has been completed in DAZ3D can it be can it then be converted into JPG (or similar) and printed from MS Word?

How is it done? I presume the comic artists do it?

Thank you.

That would not be a first choice, just use any photo program, whatever came with your computer should work fine. You also do not need to convert images to jpegs to print them.

You need to render, to the size you want (in Render Settings>Editor tab>General group), then either save from the render window or use File>Save Last Render (or set the image to render directly to a file in Render Settings).

Thank you Gederix and Richard, most helpful.

    Have a nice day both.

To add to Richard's comments, render to the size you want in inches times 300, so that your printed image has good quality. For example, if you want to print a 4 x 6 image, enter 1200 (300 * 4) for the height, and 1800 (300 * 6) for the width.

Unless you first process the resulting image in a graphics editor, and specify 300 pixels per inch, your printer and other software on your computer may interpret the image size at 72 dots per inch. This will cause the image to print bigger than you want. If you use such graphics software, use its image size feature to specify 4"x6" inches while keeping the 300 pixels per inch resolution. Resave the file, and now it'll contain resolution info. If you print an image without resolution information contained in it, you'll probably need to specify the size you want in the printer's property box.

You can also just type the sum in the sze boxes and let DS work the answer out.
