Well, I am to receive my Tax return tomorrow.
Been looking through my wishlist. See a couple of I items I plan to get and looking at new items.
So many items I want. LOL 
Not sure yet.
What are you planning to get?

Another hard drive. Daz is filling my terra-terror.
It's going to another purchase (new car). Luckily I don't live paycheck to paycheck and have to justify my 3d purchses thru my payday. I would probably rethink any hobby if I did.
Well, One thing I am getting outside of Daz is a New AV Receiver for my home entertainment that can handle 4K Pass through.
I have a 4K Television and a 4K Blu-Ray player but my receiver I have is not 4K so I have to upgrade that.
Can not get true 4K Resolution unless all conected is 4K Compliant. I use this 4K Television for my Computer monitor and I have such a sweet resolution.
I plan to do some serious Daz shopping too. I just hope many of the items I want are on sale, The more that are means the more I can get. LOL

Compared to anyone who has a budget and they use the "Daz amount" they subtract from their monthly stubs to buy goodies.
If your worried about money FOR A HOBBY, you are doing just fine.
There's a real world out there and people are doing the check-to-check thing for more important things than a hobby.

No, don't rethink your hobby, rethink how much you spend pursuing it and your overall spending habits.
This is the second time I've read something like this- dropped in the middle of a looking forward to spending money on Daz-themed thread.

Seems like you're here to be the voice of fiscal responsibility. lol
So many people seem to think that getting a tax refund is a good thing.
The money you get back is money that should have been yours all along, but instead, you've given the government an interest-free loan for the past year.
A GTX 1070 so I can have more VRAM
I totally don't mind giving the govt. an interest-free loan (but we probably shouldn't get into that here). And it's nice to get a 'bonus' in March or April, even if you're paying it to yourself.
If we get one (not sure if we will for various reasons), I'm going to try to tuck some away as Daz credit. But I have some upcoming expenses that aren't Daz related too...
We got ours already. Spent some of it on sending the kid to summer school so that she didn't have to deal with Theology classes durring her Senior Year and had an extra study hall to handle all the AP and Honors classes (which is all of them bar the Psych class, because that's new.) Yes, I'm bragging about my kid. :D
Some I intend to spend on actual, real life type clothing. :) (I don't worry about staying in fashion, so I tend to only buy clothes when I need something new.)
Heh. What is this "return" thing you speak of? Nope. Not getting one of those. I hope everyone who does get one has fun with it.
Federal Income tax return here goes towards paying our municipal taxes...
In my corner of the world, tax returns happen (if you're getting any) around early December. I usually spent mine on Christmas shopping.
