Need help! Slow loading G3F base figure. How long does it take you?

In my original install, it was taking over 60 seconds to load the base G3F figure in an empty scene. I've since uninstalled and deleted my old folder, deleted my registry keys, deleted my database, deleted the AppData folder and started again from scratch. On a fresh install, G3F loaded in about 10 seconds. After installing about 40+ characters, it now loads in over 20s. I fear it will get up to 60 seconds again if I install all the characters I have. Note that my original install was on SSD. Now, it's on a HDD, but my cache is still on SSD.

Since I'm not having any luck with the ticket I issued (after losing all my metadata and buying a new HDD), I thought I would ask here. How long does it take you to load the base G3F figure in an empty scene? Do you know of anything that would slow down load times as new characters are installed? And how to fix this?

Thanks!

More morphs being added, I imagine.

Eta: it takes me a while. I've neve timed it because I usually look at something else or doze off while waiting.

Just timed mine and it took 6 seconds to load. FWIW I have the DAZ morphs, 3 other morph packages and about 21 addon characters also.

  • 6 seconds? Takes me 10s with nothing else installed. lol

Over a dozen characters, plus G3F muscle and shape morphs, not to mention numerous clothing morphs. Takes me about 3 seconds loading from PNY ssd on a new MSI mobo w/I5 processor (iray off).

Current system is w10 and about 4 months old.
