How To Use Genesis 2 MALE Skin Textures on Genesis 2 FEMALE Figures?

Is there a method?  Or a product that gives you that ability?

Thanks!

Since they are the same underlying mesh a preset shoudl just apply the correct UVs as I recall - if not it's a fairly simple edit, or you can export the male figure as OBJ and load - though the Surfaces pane option menu - as a new UV set for the female. This doesn't work for Genesis 3 as the male and female meshes differ.

Yes; copy the UV files from the data folder under Genesis 2 Male to Genesis 2 Female. Unfortunately, I'm not at my Studio computer at the moment, and the Daz documentation wiki search engine appears to be broken at the moment (it just says "Loading..." and never loads anything), so it'll need to wait until I get back to that computer to detail the actual folder location.

A freebie done by Slosh available at Share CG: http://www.sharecg.com/v/73633/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/UVSetterGen2-Revised-10-2014

If you use the freebie, you can skip copying the UVs. I think it covers all of the male figures excluding Cory and Scott, and apparently also includes the ability to use original flavor Genesis UVs on Genesis 2.

If you're doing it with Genesis 3, Slosh also has a product for sale here: http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-uv-swap-male-and-female-base
