Can I create another perspective view?
I usually get to the 'right place' and then create a camera as a scene bookmarker- except the camera behaves differently than a perspective view.'
Wondering is it possible to create some other kind of perspective view 'marker' to bring the viewport back to a particluar place.
Somes I want to jump around a scene and switching cameras isn't always workable.

And long as we're here. Somtimes I want to get rid of the bounding box and any other screen 'helper' graphics. When I select an eye to edit, it creates the binding box and I can't see (no pun) what the eye is doing.
If I click away, I lose the eye slection and it's a pain to select everything from the side panel.

If you create a new camera, there's an option to copy the perspective View. (Menu> Create> New Camera). When a scene is saved, that camera will be saved with it and your view will be preserved.
Have a look at my DS tutorial. It's very old (for DS 2), but not much has changed in the cameras, and it covers the whole process of creating and using cameras.

To madify the bounding box, got to Menu> Window> Panes> Draw Settings. Click on General in the Editor tab to see the options. You can change the bounding box size and opacity.
The scripting docs seem to say it is possible to create a new view, rather than a camera, but I have never managed to get it to work. Not sure if there's a current bug report on that - I have reported it in the past.
I will look at that. I'm asking because there seems to be only ONE perspective view but as many cameras as you want/create.
Sometimes I use the camera and move around and realize I'm using a camera.
I want to do the opposite.
Create a Perspective view from a camera view. In essence, go backwards.
Now, when I switch back to perspective view-mode, it jumps to the last place I used the perspective view.
