Anyone else getting strange behavior from loaded morphs?
in The Commons
So, I load up a morph via Morph Loader Pro, it loads fine into the scene. Then, I can use it to morph my figure...np.
However, when I try to put clothes or hair on the figure, they won't follow the morphed G3F, after doing a "Fit to."
Normally, this works fine. I've just had this start happening this week.
Also, the new morphs aren't being saved when I save them as an asset. I try to open a new G3F, but the newly saved morphs aren't there...even after restarting Studio.
Any idea what might be causing this weird glitch...anyone else experiencing similar problems?

After you use Morph Loader Pro, or send the morph from Hex to Studio and the dial is made, did you ERC freeze the morph to the base G3F (without Mouth Realizm HD and Navel settings)? This you need to do first, then save as a morph asset so the data file has everything. This also prevents odd warping of the figure when you pose or use expressions. As for not showing up- Not sure, I've never had that issue. Check the bottom of the morph sliders-I've noticed sometimes my new morphs are saved there- or check your Parameters tab. If you see Morph, there is your morph if you didn't change where the system is supposed to save it. If you didn't catagorize it (like People-Fantasy/Sci-Fi-Head) it goes there by default.
Hmmm... I normally load the morph via MLP, then put it in Edit Mode and change parameters to start morph at 0%, then slide the dial to 100% and apply ERC Freeze. Then, I save as morph asset.
I checked to make sure I was saving in the right place...Actor, Full Body, Emmy Body. But, if I close Daz and restart, the morph doesn't show up.
This is far from the first time I've done this. I'm just wondering if I skipped a step...or, if there's something weird going on with Studio. I have loaded new products in the past week. But, that's something I do just about every week.
I'll start over, just to see if I'm missing something.
Do you normally do ERC Freeze before applying the dial, or after? I've never really understood what the ERC is applied to...the new shape after dialing in, or the old shape before the dial is spun. Does it make a difference?
BTW...I usually export the obj from Studio at Base Resolution and with Mouth HD and Naval sliders at zero. If I have the naval slider up before export I get a huge naval when I load the morph. If I leave the Mouth HD on before export, I get some really funky looking teeth when the morph is loaded...LOL
