Auditorium with Props Questions

I am considering purchasing the Auditorium with Props; but how versitile is it? Can the screen be removed or changed to have an open stage for a concert? Will the curtains close?

Thanks,

Charlie

Not at home but I might be able to test it out soon as it shows I purchased it.  I just need time in front of that stupid computer.

I looked at that product, but the promo images show those auditorium seats as having desktops that are WAY too close to the seats.  Another product on here had a similar issue, to where trying to put a character into the seat resulted in the desktops clipping through the legs and such.

Until I know whether or not the seat desktops are adjustable (which in the other product they weren't) or there was some other way to pose characters correctly in the seats, I'd be cautious.  Of course, if it doesn't work you can always return it.

I'm waiting to hear what Miss Bad Wolf discovers in her rendering attempts.....hopefully with some seated figures!

I went ahead and bought it while it was on sale; but I am really debating whether to return it. I haven't tried seating a figure yet so I'm not sure about clearances but the desktops are built as part of the seat group and don't have a seperate material zone; so they can't be easily made invisible. However, the seat groups are seperate props and can be completely removed and replaced. The room including the stage and curtains is one single prop; so the curtains can't be closed. The board, however, can be made invisible by setting its cutout opacity to zero.

Good to know.  I already have several auditoriums and theater/stage set ups and I'd passed this one by several times.  Currently my gotos are the free Lecture Hall one from Inlite, Greenpot's School Theater and from Rendo and Polish's College Classroom here http://www.daz3d.com/college-classroom and between those and a few others I've been able to get what I've need so far... though I was tempted by both this and Tesla's Lecture Hall here http://www.daz3d.com/lecture-hall-with-props. ; Sounds like this one may be the most limited and problematic to work with.
